THIRD MEETING OF PARTIES TO THE AARHUS
CONVENTION
11 - 13 June, 2008
RIGA/LATVIA
A long awaited
meeting is finally coming closer. Below you will find all necessary information
for the different meetings,
which will take place from 8 to 13 June 2008, including
registration, venue information and logistics
for the conference, advice on visas and travel, agenda (s) and documents for
both official and NGO meetings etc.
1. DATES FOR DIFFERENT MEETINGS IN RIGA
a. last meeting of the Working Group of Parties (WGP-10) will be from 8 to 10
June
b. 20th meeting of the Compliance Committee will be from 8 to 10 June
c. THIRD MEETING OF THE PARTIES TO THE AARHUS CONVENTION is from 11 to 13 June
d. European ECO Forum Strategy meeting is planned for 8 & 9 June
e. European ECO Forum activities throughout the whole period of MOP - from 10
until 13 June
f. European ECO Forum wrap up and follow up meeting - either on 13 June in the
evening or 14 June first half of the day. WILL NOT BE VERY LONG!!!!
For sure, there will be other events organized by participating
organizations and it would be good to get information about them.
